DemoDAIRY Foundation is proud to support the Neil Porter Legacy and will continue to play a part in exposing students to the benefits of working in agriculture.
The Neil Porter Legacy shows students the vast career opportunities in our region, including food and fibre which is a major employer, providing many job options to our youth.
Neil, a Brauer College teacher, died in his sleep in 2018 but his legacy lives on. He valued all professions, encouraged his students to pursue a career based on their interests and recognised the many resulting benefits when industry and schools work together.
His son Matt Porter recently briefed the DDF Board on plans for expansion in 2022 and we look forward to working together in the future.
