A DemoDAIRY Foundation scholarship gave Marika Austin an unexpected mid-life career move…and she’s loving it.
Marika has now finished her Certificate III in Agriculture through South West TAFE and continues to enjoy her work on a Nullawarre dairy farm.
Before moving from Mildura two years ago, Marika had never been on a dairy farm. Now she’s raising his own calves and has introduced her son to working in the industry.
Marika recently shared her experiences with the DemoDAIRY Foundation Board.
